Initial Plot -  A girl moves into a council estate in an urban area in London where she begins a college for the firsr time. Initially she is shy, intimidated and makes no friends until she meets  four girls who becomes friends with. She wants to fit in with the other girls as has no friends so eventuallu falls under peer pressure and makes decisions she dosen't want to do such as alcohol and drugs. Eventually, she finds herself in a bad place and drops out of college.

Characters -  1
Main character -  At first is shy , lonely feels isolated but later grows in confindence.
2nd girl - very confident , ghetto , loud and manipulative
3rd girl - easily manipulated , follower , loud 
4th girl - more responsible , smart , sensible .

Social Groups introduced -   Urban youth, Lower class people , poor , uneducated , against police system , no respect for the law .



Film opening plan

Film begins with an aerial shot of the main character laying on the ground bleeding from an attack that happened beforehand barely conscious. High angle shots of frantic people around her. Foley sounds of ambulance and so on. There is a voice over of the girl on the ground talking about the past events that had got her into to the current situation. 

Main title.

Then it goes to the beginning of the story. Establishing shots of iconic places in London at night which transitions into the the day time whilst urban grime music is playing.

Another establishing shot of an council estate. Then various shots of the girl in bed being awaken by her alarm > Foley sound.

Mother shouts from another room for to get ready for her first day of college.
She gets ready and leaves the house. Then there are further establishing shots of the council estate.

Various shots of the girl travelling to college and so on.

Establishing shot of the college. High angle shot of the girl looking up to the college with worry.
